Action Metal Recyclers is proud to be sponsoring the 2019 Brisbane Big City Barbecue which will be held in King George Square on 31st May 2019.

The Brisbane Big City Barbecue raises funds through a lunch time festival and distributes to charities working at grass roots level right across Brisbane. The Barbecue has raised over $800,000 for charity since 2006.

The nominated charities to receive donations from the Barbecue this year are Drug ARM Australasia, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust and Foodbank Queensland. The Barbecue has become known as ‘Brisbane’s Day of Giving’ and is supported by corporate sponsorship.
